Endless, blissful creation.
Anantmaya joins two Sanskrit words, anant and maya. Together they mean god’s endless and blissful creation, which is a fair description of the valley the resort looks out on.
The villas take their timber-and-stucco look from the English Tudor style. Inside, the rooms are classic and comfortable, with wooden floors, carved beds and central heating for the winter.

Most days a breeze starts up the valley late in the morning and builds until four or five. It is why the lawns and balconies stay pleasant through a summer afternoon.
